Certificate of attendance

A Certificate of Attendance will be issued on the last day for all registered participants.

 

Transportation

Registered participants willing for travel assistance will be welcomed by the members of the Organizing committee at the airport, bus and railway stations and provided free transportation to hotel and congress venue. Please inform the Organisers about your travel schedule in advance.

 

Visas

Citizens of the European Union, as well as citizens of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Switzerland, the US and many other countries need only a valid passport to visit Lithuania. Colleagues not from these countries are advised to check for visa requirements at www.urm.lt, and apply in the home country before the travel date.

 

Invitation letter

The Organizing Committee will be very glad to send a personal invitation to registered participant in order to help arranging their travel and visa arrangements. Such letter, however, does not constitute any financial obligation.

 

Insurance

Visitors of Lithuania are required to have valid certificates of health insurance.

 

Weather

Weather conditions in June are comfortable: average maximal daily temperature is c.21°C. Regretfully, occasional rain showers are unpredictable, thus it is advisable to have an umbrella or suitable clothing.

 

Time

Lithuania is in the Eastern European time zone (GMT +2 hours).

 

Currency and payments

National currency is Litas, and has fixed exchange rate (1 EUR = 3.45 Litas). All major credit and bank cards are accepted in most of places. ATMs are available throughout the city.
